Usually in pen and ink, I draw local people ,and scenes from architecture , and nature . I enjoy keeping a sketchbook , creating rough layouts, and then developinga detailed work back in my studio . my pen and ink painting are relatively small , enabling me to take much of my visual vocabulary from obseration , wheather it is from spending time at a local coffee shop , bookstore ,restaurant , in parks and other nature settings, or behine the lens of my digital SLR
